Recently installed in her client's Tai Chi studio situated in the tree tops along the Chattahoochee River, this large abstract mixed media painting on canvas includes metallic paints, bas relief texture, resin, and gold leaf.
Megan used the inspiration of a walk along the very same river in creating this piece, capturing the wonder and depth of the wetlands with the metallic paints and deep sheen of resin. The highlly textureal leaves growing through the water a represented in shining gold leaf. Megan uses media she has explored over the last 23 years creating murals and finishes in her own unique way to show the viewer the way she sees the world.
She is always thrilled once her pieces are installed in her client's spaces and they feel as if they have always been there. Like a piece of art coming home.
